Lou Dawg’s Southern BBQ has announced the launch of a fully Vegan/Vegetarian menu at all of its operating locations. They will also eliminate plastic straws.
Lou Dawg’s is known for its authentic slow smoked BBQ and southern culture, including the best in bourbon, beer and blues. The restaurant with a cult following in Toronto, Hamilton, Waterloo and London Ontario (opening June 2018) aims to extend the warmth of southern culture, live music and high quality, delicious food options to vegetarian and vegan diners.
We believe in serving ‘Good Times’ to as many good people as possible – and in 2018, that means being socially conscious and offering choice to diners who want delicious food that aligns with both their beliefs and any dietary restrictions they may have
With the launch of this menu, we will also discontinue providing plastic straws at all locations by default, customers will have to ask for a straw if they feel they need one.
As we expand our franchise locations throughout Canada, we choose cities and towns with strong community presence, often home to University & Colleges – we find that these location are home to socially conscious consumers, and while we will continue to offer traditional slow smoked BBQ, we want to make sure we are including all diners in the Good Times we have to offer – from Live Entertainment to Co-Ed Community Softball, Event Catering and everything in between
